The Story Behind The Humpty Dumpty Solution!…
While browsing the Internet, I read an interesting fact. 42% of the world's
population is under the age of 25.
It got me thinking, why should today’s young people be working in an
organizational structure created thousands of years ago by emperors and
generals or even 20th Century CEOs?
The widely accepted principles of business leadership from previous
generations just don't work. Leadership, as usual, is over.
Each year thousands of new books are written on business leadership.
Most have borrowed content, don’t say anything new, and don’t provide any
advice on simplifying leadership. The Humpty Dumpty Solution is not one
of those books!
I always wanted to find a book on leadership and life, with examples from
real-world leaders, that was entertaining and fun to read without BS or fluff.
Most Business Books Are Boring!
One day I was reading nursery rhymes to my niece and I had a “Eureka
Moment.” There are leadership and timeless life lessons hidden within each
nursery rhyme we heard as children. They’ve enjoyed the test of time and
are still with us today.
I remembered that creativity is simply the art of putting two well-understood
ideas together in a new way. The solution was obvious.
Everyone knows the Humpty Dumpty Nursery Rhyme. He fell off the wall,
and all the King’s horses and men couldn’t put him together again.
